Kol Hamacabee The Center for Torah Zionism with offices in Kfar Tapuach,
Israel and Boulder, Colorado, has announced the itinerary for its Ultimate
Zionist Mission to Israel, March 14-24, 2005. The tour is drawing participants from
across the United States and will focus on connecting with communities in
Jerusalem, and the Jewish settlements of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza. According to
Kol Hamacabee director Matt Finberg, “Although our intention is to bring chizuk
(support) to our holy brothers and sisters threatened not only by terrorism
but by government deportation, we will receive back tremendous chizuk as well
in addition to learning a great deal and making lifelong friends.”
The tour may also be one of the best values in packages to Israel. The land
package is only $714.00 for double occupancy and $864.00 for single occupancy.
The tour organizers have allowed mission participants to make their own air
travel arrangements to enable them to use frequent flyer points and make the
most convenient connections.
An extension option is available through March 28 for an additional $400 per
person for those who wish to continue touring with the group and then spend
Purim in Jerusalem.
The tour will be led by long-time settler activist and government licensed
guide Era Rapaport. Featured speakers currently include Kfar Tapuach community
leaders David Ha`ivri and Lenny Goldberg; Kedumim Mayor Daniella Weiss; MK
Effie Eitam; Moshe Feiglin; Women in Green founder Ruth Matar; and Hebron
community leader David Wilder. The group will be addressed by Rabbi David Grossman
(nationally recognized as the Disco Rabbi for leaving the safety of his frum
community to rescue at-risk secular Jews in Israel by entering their worlds in
discotheques and bringing them back to Torah), esteemed Breslov Rabbis Avraham
Greenbaum and Ozer Bergman, and young leaders of the emerging political force
known as The Hill Top Youth.
