President George W. Bush in an address to a joint session of Congress on September 20, 2001 said, “Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.”
So why is the U.S. hosting an international “peace” conference this November – a conference where PM Olmert is expected to make territorial concessions to Mahmoud Abbas, terrorist, in exchange for nothing, if not more terror?
While the modern state of Israel has always been on the receiving end of pressure from its closest ally, never has American pressure been more of a threat to Israel and in greater conflict with America’s stated foreign policy and national interest.
Israel currently faces a nuclear threat from Iran, a chemical and biological threat from Syria, a missile threat from Hezbollah in Lebanon, and a terror and rocket threat from Hamas — armed with weapons provided to Fatah by the U.S. and Israel and taken by Hamas in the Gaza takeover.
Carrying on “peace” negotiations under the shadow of these threats is ludicrous and will be understood as a further sign of Israel’s vulnerability – encouraging Israel’s enemies in their war of phased annihilation.
AFSI will be in Washington protesting this conference that threatens the Jewish State’s very existence. We need to turn out en masse and deliver a resounding cry that the Land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel and that Israel must guarantee its own security from defensible borders.
Judea, Samaria, the Golan Heights and the Jordan Valley must remain in our hands forever.
JOIN US in November in Washington.
