Dear MEMRI Subscribers,
Beginning today, November 5, 2002, MEMRI will make segments of programming originally broadcast on Iqraa TV available on www.memri.org/video as streaming video. The subtitled videos, which will include transcripts, will be released as a three part series. The first three segments are now available at www.memri.org/video; subsequent segments will follow.
Segments included in the first release are:

ABOUT IQRAA TV
IQRAA TV is an Arabic-language satellite TV station which describes itself as a channel dedicated to bringing “the teachings of Islam into the homes and hearts of Arabs world wide.” It is owned by Arab Radio and Television (ART), which was formed in October 1993 as part of the Arab Media Corporation (AMC) group, which works with Arab Digital Distribution (ADD).
ADD is backed through its holding company, Arab Media Corporation (AMC), by the multi-million dollar Dallah Al-baraka Group and Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal. Dallah Al-Baraka Group was founded by renowned Saudi Arabian businessman Sheikh Saleh Kamel, who also established ART, a company in which Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal is also a major shareholder.
