Fatah Reports Having Attempted to Assassinate PM Sharon (IsraelNationalNews.com) Terrorists associated with the Fatah organization report they have attempted without success to assassinate Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, adding that persons that were apprehended in their attempt in Jerusalem’s Old City remain in custody and will stand trial for their offense.

Fatah leaders stated in a flyer distributed in PA-controlled Ramallah on Monday they will continue their efforts to kill the prime minister and senior cabinet officials.
