Two people were killed early this evening when a Palestinian suicide terrorist blew himself up at the entrance to a shopping mall in Kfar Saba. One of those killed was a guard at the mall, who managed to block the terrorist and delay the explosion for a few seconds, thus saving the lives of many people around him and in the mall. The identity of one of the victims has not yet been ascertained. Eyewitnesses gave thanks to both G-d and the guard for preventing a major calamity. The attack brings to four the number of Israelis murdered in terrorist attacks in Kfar Saba over the past year and a half.

Close to 50 people were wounded in the blast, including two infants. Nineteen remain hospitalized, including one victim in serious condition.
