A Palestinian terrorist was shot and killed during the course of his attempt
to murder two Jews in Hevron today. The terrorist fired and wounded the two in
the Admot Yeshai neighborhood shortly after 1 PM today, leaving one in
“moderate” condition and one with light wounds. Security forces opened fire and
killed the attacker, and for a while afterwards it was feared that another
terrorist was still in the vicinity. It was later concluded that he had escaped. The
terrorist stood on the porch of an Arab house, at the top of the Tel Rumeida
junction, spraying gunfire at passing vehicles, people standing outside, and
Jewish houses, causing damage to homes and one car.
On the Gaza fence today, two terrorists were discovered trying to place a
bomb designed to target IDF patrols; soldiers opened fire at the two. In the
north, Hizbullah terrorists fired towards Israel this afternoon; no one was hurt.
