Gaza Terrorists Murder 2 Israelis, Wound 3

By Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu Arutz Sheva July 24, 2005

Two Arab terrorists killed an Israeli couple and injured three others in an attack on a car at the Kissufim crossing Saturday night. Soldiers killed one terrorist and are looking for the second.

At least two of the injured suffered light or moderate injuries and all of the victims were ferried by helicopter to Be’er Sheva’s Soroka Hospital. A third person was seriously injured.

The terrorist fired at several cars west of the bridge near the crossing. Engineer troops rushed to the scene and killed one of the terrorists.

Earlier in the day, Arab terrorists fired two mortar shells and an anti-tank rocket on Israelis following two days of relative quiet while American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice visited Israel. She praised the Palestinian Authority (PA) for fighting terror but said it had to work harder
