The Passover events brought more than one million visitors to the capital.
This was a record number of visitors for the past 20 years.
Approximately 250,000 visitors viewed the Old City Walls multimedia
performance. For the first time, the Municipality closed routes to the Old
City and operated shuttles from organized parking lots to the Old City. More
than 50,000 people used these shuttles daily.
The public enjoyed the various events: performances, tours, childrens’
activities and much more.
Mayor Lupolianski noted that the Municipality’s advance arrangements enabled
hundreds of thousands of visitors to join the events and visit the Old City
without encountering any problems or delays.
