Two Kassam rockets were fired at the Negev city of Sderot this afternoon, wounding two people lightly - including a child. Some 30 people were treated for shock. One of the rockets landed in a shopping center. Another Kassam rocket was fired at the western Negev this morning, landing in an open field.
In other war news today, Arab terrorists fired a mortar shell this morning at a Gush Katif neighborhood - the same one in which two members of one family were moderately wounded in a Kassam rocket attack yesterday… Yesterday’s attack was a direct hit on a home near the entrance of N’vei Dekalim, the largest community in Gush Katif; photos can be seen at the Gush Katif website … Israel Air Force helicopters attacked two buildings in Gaza last night in which weapons were manufactured…
Later this afternoon, terrorists fired an anti-tank rocket at an IDF outpost in the Rafiah area of southern Gaza. There were no injuries… Soldiers along the Egyptian border detected terrorists who were placing a bomb. They fired at them, hitting at least one of them…
