CJS Hosts 3rd International Conference on Material Technologies

The Advanced Materials Research Center of the College of Judea & Samaria will be hosting the Third International Conference on Mathematical Modeling & Computer Simulation of Material Technologies (MMT-2004). The event is being organized in cooperation with the Israeli Ministry of Science and will be held in Ariel from September 6 - 10, 2004.

The main purpose of the MMT-2004 forum is to provide local and international researchers with an opportunity to exchange information on the latest developments in material science and engineering.

Some of the areas of research to be discussed at this year’s forum include: material design, metallurgical processes and reactions, interface diffusion, laser processing of polymer materials and optimization of materials and processes in metal, steel and welding industries.

Participants at the MMT-2004 conference will include leading scientists from Israel, the United States, Russia, China, India, Canada, Germany, Poland, Portugal, South Korea and Ukraine.

The conference will be held in the Raab Building (Lax Auditorium) on campus and will be conducted in English. During the conference, the official proceedings will be issued in CD form and also placed on the CJS web site.
